As we come off an exciting week of solar eclipse mania and end to March Madness games, David Chang’s beloved Momofuku is taking heat as backlash against its cease-and-desist outreach to small Asian-owned businesses using “chile crisp” and “chili crisp” proves loud and persistent. Also, Coachella kicks off this weekend, but ticket sales are down, putting a damper on high-end festival event rentals - rising prices, a less buzzy lineup and more competition in the live music space are likely to blame.

Priya Mathew, formerly editorial director of events at Axios, is now senior booker at The New York Times, booking guests for a new interview franchise - a podcast with an accompanying piece in The New York Times Magazine with possible guests including CEOs, athletes, politicians and actors.
